As this is an advanced resurfacing procedure, the skin must be prepped with the prescribed home care products at least 2 weeks prior.

You will be required to give consent for treatment by signing the 'Informed Consent' form. This way, we can make sure that you can receive the Ultraformer treatment and have no present conditions which are contraindicated with this procedure.

Your skin therapist will use a handheld device that emits high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) energy to deliver targeted heat energy deep into the skin's layers. The energy triggers a natural healing response, causing the skin to produce more collagen and elastin.

The length of an Ultraformer treatment session can vary depending on the area being treated, but typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes. The number of sessions needed will depend on the individual's skin concerns and desired results.

Ultraformer treatment doesn't cause major discomfort at all, however, it is a resurfacing procedure, so you might feel a tingling or minor stinging sensation.

Although this treatment is known for minimal downtime, some clients might experience redness and tenderness post-treatment.

For the first 24 hours after the treatment, avoid hot showers, saunas, or any activities that could cause excessive sweating.

For the first few days after the treatment, it's best to avoid direct sun exposure and wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 if you need to go outside.

For best results, you will be recommended to follow a prescribed skincare routine. Multiple applications are usually required. The number of follow-up and maintenance treatments will depend on your skin concern(s), condition, and healing process.
